My wonderful Family!

I'm sure you all read Jeff's cute blog post. Well I have to add to it. Yesterday I was working on dinner in the kitchen; I had just gotten started when Ehre walked in. She asked if she could make a surprise for Jeff. I said yes and asked what she had in mind. She told me that she wanted to do the dishes; she wanted to unload the dishwasher and put everything away. She also wanted rinse the dishes in the sink, and load them. I was surprised and let her continue wondering if she would get distracted and go back to playing. No, I was wrong. She put away all the dishes and pans where they belonged and asked me to put away the knives since “Dad says I’m too little to put away knives.” She had everything done so quickly and I was super impressed!


I really do have an amazing husband and I wonder if he doesn’t accomplish more with the kids than I do. When he came home one evening Ben was getting really frustrated since he couldn’t put on his shoes. Jeff patiently sat down with him and showed him how the tongue of the shoe must be left out in order to slide ones’ foot in. Ben was much happier and can now put on his shoes happily!

So I guess after writing this email, I need to go and give my wonderful husband and children a hug and kiss, they have really made the last week easier.
