Trunk or Treat Party!

Making this a Stake idea was huge! I quickly found out that 2 bags of candy wasn't nearly enough. Ehre is an Alligaor (girl) and Benjamin is a Pumpkin, Jeff is Dilbert, and I dressed up as "A Breakup" and carried around a tub of chocolate ice cream and a spoon. :) Don't laught at Jeff and my costume we decided to dress up just before we left.

Happy Ben

It appears that my video didn't work on this blog site so I decided to post a few of the pictures of our happy Benjamin. What a wonderful guy he is in the stage where he enjoys exploring everything, he just wanders around checking everything out. But when he is in his playpen he likes to play peek-a-boo, he can do this with Ehre, and she'll get him to a point where they both can't stop laughing its SOOOO cute! When they aren't having fun playing around the house Ehre is always asking if they can go and play in the tub...caution you may get wet watching them play.

Stake Trunk or Treat

Making this a Stake idea was huge! I quickly found out that 2 bags of candy wasn't nearly enough. Did you know that it once said in the "For the Strength of the Youth" Pamphlet that it was immodest to be seen outside of the home with curlers and a house robe?... ohhh in today's standards I'd say this would be quite modest...how things have changed. :)

Richfield Halloween Party

We are definitely a minority here, there was only 4 other "white" people here at this party, so when the dancing started we just watched. We decided that the African American people that live around us can really dance, and look cool but if we were to try we would just look dumb. Why is that? This party was really fun, we were able to meet more kids Ehre and Ben's age. Ehre had a lot of fun, played her first game of duck-duck-goose, and then ate lots of cupcakes and hot dogs.

Caution....Naked Bath Babies

For those of you that met the sick and grumpy Benjamin on our last trip to Utah, since this was "the first impression" for most of you I had to show off the usual version that I get "most" of the time.

He is teething still, we almost have the top two teeth in , but for the most part he is back to being my happy, laughing little guy and we LOVE him! (And Ehre too!)

Ehre's New Dress

Sunday when I went to dress Ehre for Church I realized that all her summer dresses were way to cold for the weather out here. So I went to my bucket of material and found some wool from Mabel Oliver, and decided I would fix the problem by making her a new dress.

The dress is finished now and I am working on a brown Sunday coat to go over it. I have a few other wool pieces so I'll make her some jumpers and skirts and hopefully we'll get her better prepared for Sundays in Indiana. The best part about sewing a dress is that Ehre loves getting involved she loved picking out the buttons and ribbon, and she loves trying on the dress and showing it to her daddy.

Our New Car.... well its 2 months old now.

After much delibration, we decidede that we'd better try and see if we could get anything ($) out of Jeff's Jeep and Ann's Lancer... and we did. I always told Jeff that "I'll never own a mini-van", but now that we have one.... I LOVE IT ! This car was designed for families! We love taking it camping and to different state parks, it holds all our Junk and is really compatable to our needs. It even has a hitch for the Bike Carrier! So for all of you out there with kids, never say never...these things are awesome!

Daddy does Ehre's Hair

This morning, I was gone for the Primary Program Rehersal, and Jeff took the kids. He was wonderful, he made the breakfast, got them dressed and even fixed Ehre's Hair! He's such a wonderful dad!

Ehre and Minni's Play Date

We enjoyed a fun day! Minnie came over to play for a day with Ehre and they had a blast, during nap time while I was taking care of Benjamin, they got into my make up! What a beautiful job they did and as you can see they are now ready for a night out on the town! After cleaning them up we packed a snack and went to visit Jeff on campus and play near the fountians!

Our Trip to Utah

A SHORT OUTLINE OF OUR TRIP
1. Great flight to Utah, Benjamin has been a little sick but hey he was still really good.
2. Our visit starts out with a dental visit that makes us realize how important cavity prevention is. We enjoy seeing friends and their growing families, play in the park and meet for dinner.
3. Wedding Plans are underway, we prepare for a wet reception, and have dinner with the Maas Family and Grandma and Grandpa Millett.
4. Wedding plans all go really well, and it is a beautiful ceremony.
5. Jeff accidently cuts himself = 8 stitches.
6. Benjamin starts throwing up...maybe he isn't getting better at all. Since he is getting dehydrated we decide to go visit the ER, and test them on their compency...well they made a few mistakes, I guess they could use a little more training on simple procedures.
7. Ehre is sick now too... this is getting really fun!
8. Now that Uncle Spencer and Grandpa Mark are sick Ehre is starting to feel better.
9. By now Ann & Jeff are SO ready to go back to IN...crazy we thought this would never happen.
10. Confrence weekend is great.
11. Jeff hikes Orderville Canyon with friends, despite the snow and cold weather while camping, they have a great time.
12. Ann's dental work is now finished. We enjoyed FHE with Christy and Lief, and visiting Grandma Dawn.
13. Time to go back to UT we fly home.

AND THATS IT!
