While in Detroit the Petersons took us to the HENRY FORD MUSEUM! It was really cool!

Merry Christmas

What a wonderful Chrismtas we had. Because we left for Detroit early Christmas day and the 2 hour time difference we had the kids open their gifts from grandparents Christmas eve on Webcam! It was fun to chat with family and see them, we have been so blessed this year!

Benjamin Loves Books

Benjamin loves looking at books, seriously, I read to him and Ehre a lot. But often, he will go to the book pile on his own and just pull books out and turn pages its SOOOO cute!

Our Christams Tree

Last year, Jeff asked me to find an Angel for the top of our Tree....this year I finished the tree to match it. Dried oranges/limes/lemons, Cinnimon pinecones, little white angels, Wire/bead stars and our tree was finished, we really like it.

Thanksgiving 2007

Our first Thanksgiving with out parents...wow this was different. But we had a wonderful dinner, and Jason Jeff's brother was able to join us for our "feast".

Chicago

What a beautiful city at night, and it was only 6 pm. We went to the temple Saturday morning and then we decided to take the train down town. Our friends rode the Metra and said it only took about 20 minutes...we took the CTA...ooops . Well We boarded the train....rode for 20 minutes had to catch a bus for 20 minutes and then ride the train the rest of the way in. The rout we choose to ride was under construction...so it took us 1 1/2 hours each way. Crazy but it was a good experience.

Ehre didn't make it, she fell asleep just after we got into the city, Ben was asleep for the whole ride in, and the Sofia fell asleep while we were walking around and slept till we got back...such tired kids.

Japanese Steakhouse

This was a new experience for our family! Jason and Marcella took us to this little restaurant in Chicago and it was SOOOO good! I'd love to return again! The food was prepared right before us and served fresh of the grill. My favorite part was the shrimp...and I don't like shrimp!
The lit the grill on fire. Ehre thought that this was really cool. Then the took our onions and stacked them up, lit the inside and we had a little "onion train". :)
